From our perspective you are on a "diet" and of course the
"right" foods you are referring to on Weight Watchers or other
programs are typically cost prohibitive - especially for long-term weight
management and especially if you are on a limited budget. My
recommendations as a customer service rep for Personal Dietitian is that
you need a diet plan and you should probably stay away from those offering
"short-term" diets. The Personal Diet and other diets offered by
dietitians offer individuals a long term solution for their weight loss and
weight management. Dietitians approaches are more practical than the
approaches taken by the commercial diet industry. Dietitians are health
care professionals - not profiteers like much of the diet industry so their
interest in your weight loss success and health is based upon your personal
needs not their own pocketbooks or the "bottom line".
I believe our dietitian's program is a great
value for anyone. It is quite affordable and I believe it would suit your
needs quite well. The diet plans our chief dietitian will provide you
- is, as I mentioned specific to your needs. A custom approach like this is not
the case for Weight Watchers or for that matter is not provided by
other commercial diets out there -probably because it is not cost effective
for big business. The Personal Diet our experts provides teaches you
how to lose weight but more importantly the "Right-on-Track"
weight loss and diet program will teach you how to control your weight for
the long-term. ("Give a man a fish, and you feed him for a day. Teach a man
to fish, and you feed him for a lifetime".) The dietitian's weekly support and the
personal support by themselves is worth substantially more than we currently
charge. Since you can use economical foods (or any foods) available at your
local grocery store I'm sure you'll find our program a much better value for
your needs.
